Currency Home Delivery

  1. How much will I be charged to use the Cash Home Delivery travel money service?

    There are no commission charges for using this service, the only charges you will incur are:

    • £5.00 delivery charge for orders less than £500
    • FREE delivery for orders over £500
    • £2.00 charge for Saturday delivery regardless of order value
  2. Can I buy multiple foreign currencies in one order?

    You can currently only purchase one currency with each order. If you are traveling to multiple destinations then we recommend our Multi-Currency Card.

  3. When can I schedule delivery for?

    Deliveries can be scheduled up to 7 days in advance. Deliveries cannot be scheduled for Sundays or Public Holidays. A Saturday delivery option is available however a £2.00 charge will be applied to your order (regardless of order value). Please note that for each order we verify your address - if we are unable to do this we will not process your order but will attempt to contact you. For this reason we suggest you place your order as early in the day as possible to avoid disappointment and to cater for any eventualities. We recommend that you do not leave placing your order until the last possible day.

  4. Can I choose the address to which my currency is delivered?

    Unfortunately we can only deliver currency to the payment card’s registered address i.e. the address of the card that you use to pay for your order. Please also note that:

    • You cannot specify where you would like your currency delivered
    • When placing your order please ensure that your delivery address matches your debit/credit card address
    • Please ensure you use an address where we can verify your identity. Please note that we cannot deliver to business addresses
  5. Do I need to be at home to sign for my Cash Home Delivery order?

    Yes, you must be at home to sign for your order. Royal Mail Special Delivery™ guarantee delivery by 1.00pm of the next working day to 99%* of the country, including Northern Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey. Some places take longer to deliver to, but Royal Mail still guarantee delivery within three working days by 5.30pm.

  6. What happens if I am not at home?

    If you are not at home on the day of delivery Royal Mail will leave a card to inform you that delivery was attempted and your order will be returned to the local Royal Mail sorting office with instructions on how to collect it (please note that identification will be required when you collect your order) and how long it will be held there for.

    If your order is not collected within the date indicated on the card it will be returned and an administrative fee of £20 will be applied and deducted from the value of your order. Please note that the currency will be converted at the rate prevalent on the day the cancellation is performed and may differ from the rate you paid.

  7. How much can I order online?

    The maximum amount of foreign currency that you can buy in one transaction is £2,500. Due to Royal Mail policy this is the maximum amount of money that can be sent in a single day to one address . If you require more than this amount please contact us.

  8. What Denominations will I receive?

    You will receive your currency in mixed denominations

  9. Is there a minimum order value?

    The minimum order for Cash Home Delivery orders is £100. Please note, if your order is less than £500 a delivery charge of £5.00 will be added to your order

  10. For next day delivery, when do orders need to be placed by?

    If you require next day delivery, your order must be completed and received by us before 2pm. Orders placed after 2pm will be considered as being placed the next working day. If we do not receive your payment in time your order will be considered as being placed the next working day.

  11. How will I know if my order is successful?

    If your order has been successful you will receive a confirmation email from us shortly after your order has been placed confirming that is has been successful. If you do not receive this email it may mean that there has been a problem with your order in which case you should contact us. You can call our customer service advisors on 0845 867 6496.

  12. How can I pay for my Cash Home Delivery order?

    Orders for Cash Home Delivery can be paid for by debit and credit cards. We cannot accept BACS (Bank Transfer) payments for Cash Home Delivery orders.

  13. My order is late and hasn't arrived, am I due compensation?

    Please note that we are not responsible for late-delivery where the Postal Service has failed to meet the requirements of the Royal Mail Special Delivery service. However, this does not mean that we will not help you in locating your order, please contact our customer service advisors on 0845 867 6496 for assistance.

  14. Can I cancel or amend my order?

    Cancellations are generally not permitted and not possible if the order has been posted in the mail. Only under special circumstances may we cancel orders, however, this is at our discretion. To cancel an order you must call our customer service advisors on 0845 867 6496. Emails will not be accepted. If a cancellation is conducted, an administrative fee of £20 will be applied and deducted from the value of your order. Please note that the currency will be converted at the rate prevalent on the day the cancellation is performed and may differ from the rate you paid. If you wish to cancel your order please contact us no later than 12pm on the day before your order is due to be sent.
